College Scholarship for Michaela!
November 25th 2010
Michaela Woodford, Level10 at Sun Country Gymnastics in Gainesville FL, has made a commitment to compete in gymnastics for North Carolina State University for the 2012-13 season. This is an EARLY commitment for a college scholarship which is a FIRST ever in Gainesville for Gymnastics. In 2010, she placed 1st on Beam and 1st Place in All-Around at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She also placed 1st on Beam and 2nd All-Around at the Level 10 Florida State meet; and was a 2010 Regional Qualifier.
Past accomplishments include 2nd place all-around at Level 9 Regional’s and 2nd place all-around at Level 9 Eastern’s in 2007. Michaela is in the top 10% of her Junior Class at Buchholz High School taking AP and honors classes. Her GPA is 3.611/weighted 4.306.
Michaela has been at Sun Country since she was 7 ½ years old and is coached by Nikki Spinelli and Mike Romano.
